  Many congratulations must go to the team behind 'Moon' which has just won the Michael Powell Award for Best New British Film at Edinburgh. The film was edited by Nic Gaster, directed by Duncan Jones and stars Sam Rockwell

  More congratulations to Jacqueline Abrahams who won the BAFTA for Best Production Design for 'Wallander' at this year's Craft Awards. Well done!

  Huge Congratulations must go to Luke Watson and all those who worked on 'Criminal Justice' as they won Best Drama Serial at this year's BAFTA Television Awards.
Also 'White Girl', in which the costumes were designed by James Keast and production design was by Jacqueline Abrahams, won Best Single Drama, and 'Wallander' which won Best Drama Series, edited by Kristina Hetherington and also designed by Jacqueline. Big well done everyone!

  Congratulations to Kristina Hetherington who's two recent films 'Wide Open Spaces' and 'A Boy Called Dad' have been selected for the Edinburgh Film Festival

  Huge congratulations to Michael O'Connor, who can now add the Oscar for best Costume Design to his BAFTA for his fantastic work on 'The Duchess'. Well done Michael!


AT THE CINEMA

  'Leave To Remain' written and directed by Henrique Goldman and produced by Luke Schiller will premiere in Brazil on 26 June. 'Leave To Remain' tells the tragic story of Jean Charles de Menezes, who was shot in 2005 by British Police as a result of mistaken identity

Gael Garcia Bernal stars in football comedy drama 'Rudo y Cursi' about two brothers, Beto and Tato, whose fortunes drastically change when a football scout spots them but places them on rival teams. Edited by Alex Rodriguez for director Carlos Cuarón, and produced by Alfonso Cuarón and Guillermo del Toro, you can catch the film in selected cinemas from Friday 26th June

ON TELEVISION

  After a very successful screening on daytime television the first episode of MOVING ON written by Karen Brown and executive produced by Jimmy McGovern will be repeated this Monday 15 June at 10:35pm on BBC1

  The third series of KINGDOM written and co-created by Alan Whiting and starring Stephen Fry begins this Sunday 7 June at 9pm on ITV1

Michael O'Connor has begun work on Kevin MacDonald's highly anticipated Roman epic 'Eagle of the Ninth'. Produced by Duncan Kenworthy of Toledo Productions

Louise Stjernsward is currently designing costumes for 'Dagenham Girls' set during the 1968 strike at the Ford Dagenham Car plant. It is to be directed by Nigel Cole and produced by Elizabeth Karlsen and Stephen Woolley of Number 9 Films

Tom Bowyer is presently designing Clerkenwell Films' new series 'Misfits' which follows a group of teenagers with ASBOs who get caught in a freak storm and emerge with superpowers. Directed by Tom Green and produced by Kate Crowe

Pam Downe is about to start designing costumes for the third series of the highly popular drama serial 'Larkrise to Candleford'
