Arts journalist who has written for a number of publications including The Times, Sunday Times, New York Times, Financial Times, Independent, Observer, Sunday Telegraph……. A Fleet Street whore, she was bewitched by film producer Ismail Merchant (A Room with a View/Howards End/The Remains of the Day) with empty promises of large sums of cash to become his long-time literary collaborator. In other moments of avaricious madness has scripted for Fragile Films, Limelight, Endemol, and written Franco Zeffirelli’s biography.
