Chris Heath is a multi-award-winning British screenwriter and Executive Producer who has created and written 45 episodes of hit Childrens series, The World According To Grandpa, which won Best Pre-School Children’s Programme at the 2022 Broadcast Awards. In the same month, he also bagged a nomination for Best Children’s Programme at the prestigious RTS Programme Awards. In addition to these, ‘Grandpa’ recently won a special award for excellence in Broadcasting at the 2022 Voice of the Listener & Viewer Awards at the Royal Academy. He wrote two series of a Radio 4 sitcom called Clement Doesn’t Live Here Anymore (with Marc Haynes) and has also written material for comics like Lenny Henry, Marcus Brigstocke, John Bishop, Brian Conley and Paddy McGuinness.
With his TV hat on, he has created and won commissions for over 50 entertainment and factual formats for national and international broadcasters, including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and CBBC, MTV... including Holiday of my Lifetime with Len Goodman and The TV That Made Me with Brian Conley (both winners of RTS Awards for Best Daytime Programme).
