Mariama Ives-Moiba
Mariama is of English and Sierra Leonean heritage and both countries greatly influence her writing, and provide her with contrasting outlooks on life. She recently reached the interview stages for the Netflix fellowship, and has been part of the BBC New Voices Programme as well as being one of the winners of the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Competition in 2021.
