Robyn has worked extensively in the film industry for over 25 years.

Robyn’s first short film as Writer/Director A WOMAN'S RIGHT TO SHOES, premiered at Palm Springs Shortfest 17, was nominated for awards at the Madrid International Festival 2018 (Best talented Newcomer Robyn Grace – Best Cinematographer John Cavill) and at Austin Comedy Festival 2018 (Best International Short) and 36 other festivals worldwide including the World of Women Film Fair Middle East as part of 2018 International Woman’s Day celebrations. Robyn’s second short film ORANGES AND LEMONS won Best Short Film at the 2020 New Zealand International Film Festival, was nominated for Best Film at the 2020 Show Me Shorts Festival and Best Director at Utah Film Festival and Madrid International Film Festival.

Since 2020 she has directed five episodes of the extremely successful SWEET TOOTH for Netflix/Warner Bros, for season’s 1, 2 and 3. In 2022 she was nominated for an Emmy for Best Director for her first episode in Season 1 “What’s in the Freezer?”

Robyn has also directed three series of KORERO MAI and three episodes of THE CUL DE SAC a popular children’s series for TVNZ, seven episodes of POWER RANGERS DINO FURY and the whole of series three of MEAN MUMS. She has directed two episodes of TROPPO for Amazon and ABC Australia on the Gold Coast.

Recently, Robyn developed and directed a comedy musical series, HAPPINESS, in New Zealand, an episode of the reboot of the popular SPARTACUS for Lionsgate, and directed part of THE RIDGE for BBC/SkyNZ.
