Congratulations to producer Dominic Macdonald on OLD JACK'S BOAT'S BAFTA win for Best Pre-School Live Action.

BRIT LIST 2014

The 2014 Brit List (the Black List of the UK) has just announced its list of the best unproduced screenplays. Very close to the top is THE TRIAL OF QUEEN CAROLINE by Matthew Faulk and Mark Skeet, to be produced by Working Title. This is the true story of Caroline of Brunswick’s return to England to face accusations of adultery by her estranged husband, the newly ascended King George IV, and her ensuing relationship with the ambitious young barrister defending her unlikely corner, Henry Brougham.

ON TV: REMEMBER ME

With cinematography by Tony Miller, upcoming BBC One drama Remember Me marks Michael Palin's return to a regular telelvision role for the first time in 20 years. The three-parter premeires November 23rd and is directed by Ashley Pearce and produced by Chris Carey for Mammoth Screen.

OLD JACKS BOAT produced by Dominic Macdonald has been nominated for two Children's BAFTA Awards for Best Pre-School Live Action and Best Performer and has also been nominated for an RTS Award.

Alan Whiting's new ITV drama

ITV has ordered the drama THE TRIALS OF JIMMY ROSE from ITV Studios written and created by KINGDOM creator and WIRE IN THE BLOOD screenwriter Alan Whiting. It will be co-produced with GroupM Entertainment.

ITV Studios creative director of drama in Manchester Kieran Roberts said the series was, “a warm, funny and compelling drama about a family man with a criminal past who has to prove it’s never too late to start over”.
