CANNES - IN COMPETITION
The 2015 Cannes Film Festival line-up has been announced with the Jacqueline Abrahams designed THE LOBSTER in competion.
THE LOBSTER is directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and tells the story of a dystopian near future, where single people are obliged to find a matching mate in 45 days or are transformed into animals and released into the woods.
It will be released later this year.
Bible epic THE ARK begins on BBC ONE tonight at 9pm. Expertly shot by Tim Fleming and starring Joanne Whalley and David Threlfall, it tells the story of Noah and the building of the Ark with a focus on the dynamics within Noah's family.
All Hail Our Robot Overlords! Starring Gillian Anderson and Sir Ben Kingsley, Robot Overlords is the perfect family film for the Easter season. Edited by Matt Platts-Mills, the family sci-fi adventure hits UK cinemas today!
The World War II romantic drama SUITE FRANCAISE comes to UK cinemas on March 13th.
The drama, starring Kirsten Scott Thomas and Michelle Williams, features costumes by Michael O' Connor who Variety describes as "a master of the character-serving fabric selection" in a recent review for the film.
The London-based crime drama, HYENA hits UK screens on Friday March 6th. With costume by Suzie Harman, Gerard Johnson's take on the traditional "dodgy cop" thriller is sure to leave audiences pondering the blurred lines between good and evil.

The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel hits our screens on February 24th. With costumes once again by Louise Stjernsward and starring the orignal cast including Dame Judi Dench and Bill Nighy, it's sure to warm up even the coldest of Februarys!
THE DUKE OF BURGUNDY
With cinematography by Nic Knowland, THE DUKE OF BURGUNDY comes to UK cinemas on February 20th.
Described as "visually ravishing" by The Hollywood Reporter and tipped to "surely be one of the films of the decade" but L.A. Weekly, this is one not to be missed.
Channel 4's new period drama, INDIAN SUMMERS, starts this Sunday Febuary 15th. With production design by Rob Harris, the 10 part series stars Julie Walters and chronicles the life in the plantations of northern India as the British Empire begins to decline.
The hotly antipicapted ROBOT OVERLORDS, starring Ben Kingsley and Gillian Anderson will be screened as part of the Belfast Film Festival this weekend before a general release on March 27th.
Featuring production design by JP Kelly, THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING is nominated for five Oscars including Best Picture. The winners will be announced on February 22 and Dench Arnold wishes everyone involved the best of luck!
NORFOLK - ROTTERDAM FILM FESTIVAL
Featuring production design by Beck Rainford, NORFOLK has it's world premiere on the 24th Janauray as part of the International Film Festival Rotterdam. It is also in contention for one of three Hivos Tiger Awards at the festival. Congratulations and good luck to all involved!
BAFTA NOMINATIONS 2015
It's that time of year again! The BAFTA nominations are out and some congratulations are in order.
In Oustanding British Film, THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING with production design by JP Kelly and PRIDE featuring costumes by Charlotte Walter are both nominnated.

The 2014 Brit List (the Black List of the UK) has just announced its list of the best unproduced screenplays. Very close to the top is THE TRIAL OF QUEEN CAROLINE by Matthew Faulk and Mark Skeet, to be produced by Working Title. This is the true story of Caroline of Brunswick’s return to England to face accusations of adultery by her estranged husband, the newly ascended King George IV, and her ensuing relationship with the ambitious young barrister defending her unlikely corner, Henry Brougham.
